The 2007 ING Australian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on March 18, 2007 at the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit. It was the first race of the 2007 Formula One season. Kimi Räikkönen won the race on his debut for Ferrari, followed by Fernando Alonso and rookie Lewis Hamilton, both driving for Räikkönen's former team, McLaren-Mercedes. Hamilton became the first driver to finish on the podium on his Formula One debut since Jacques Villeneuve in the 1996 Formula One season.

Late in the race, David Coulthard's car vaulted over Alexander Wurz's Williams after a misjudged braking maneuver, narrowly missing the Austrian driver's head.
