Pishva County (Persian: شهرستان پیشوا) is in Tehran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Pishva.[3]

After the 2006 National Census, Pishva District was separated from Varamin County in the establishment of Pishva County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Pishva as its capital and only city.[3]

The census in 2011 counted 75,454 people in 20,629 households.[4] At the 2016 census the county's population was 86,601, in 25,704 households.[2]

According to the information of the State Meteorological Organization of tehran province, the long-term average annual rainfall of pishva is around 131.8 mm[5]

Administrative divisions

The population history and structural changes of Pishva County's administrative divisions over two consecutive censuses are shown in the following table. The latest census shows two districts, four rural districts, and one city.[2]

In 2019, the village of Jalilabad was elevated to the status of a city.[6]
