Pirayuvatlu (Persian: پيرايواتلو), also Romanized as Pīrāyūvātlū; also known as Pareh Vānlū,^[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Owltan Rural District (formerly Qeshlaq-e Shomali Rural District)^[4] of the Central District of Parsabad County, Ardabil province, Iran.^[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 885 in 177 households.^[6] The following census in 2011 counted 920 people in 219 households.^[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 721 people in 216 households.^[2]

After the census, the village of Owltan, capital of the rural district, was elevated to the status of city, and Pirayuvatlu becomes its capital.^[5]
