Mount Ol' Baldy is the sole mountain located in Garner State Park. The main trail up the mountain is the most popular trail in Garner State Park and spans nearly 500 feet in elevation.[3][4] The climb is generally considered to be difficult, due to its steep and rocky terrain.[2][4]

The mountain overlooks a portion of the Frio River, which spans 250 miles of Central Texas.[5]
