Mikail Yüksel

Mikail Yüksel (born 10 September 1982 in Kulu, Turkey) is a Swedish and Turkish politician in Sweden.[1] He is the founder and leader of the Nuance Party, which focuses on Sweden's Muslim population.[2]

Political career

Yüksel was formerly a member of the Centre Party but was expelled in 2018 after being in touch with the ultra-nationalist Turkish organization Gray Wolves.[3] In 2019, he founded the Nuance Party, a party which claims to represent minorities in Sweden.[2] The party has been accused of being Islamist, racist and homophobic.[4][5][6][7] In 2023, Yüksel stated that one of the main goals of the Nuance Party is to remove Hamas from the EU terrorist list.[8]
