Cities and towns in New Brunswick

The Canadian Province of New Brunswick has eight municipalities that hold city status. In 2023, these eight cities had a cumulative population of 293,364 and an average population of 36,671. New Brunswick's most and least populated cities are Moncton and Campbellton, with populations of 72,571 and 12,391, respectively. Saint John is the largest city by size at almost 316 km2, substantially larger than Moncton and Fredericton combined. [1]
