9 Tamil Nadu Doddabetta Nilgiri Hills section of the Western Ghats 2,636 8,648 11°24′04″N 76°44′10″E / 11.401°N 76.736°E / 11.401; 76.736 Doddabetta is the highest mountain in the Nilgiri Mountains. It is located in Udagamandalam, Nilgiri District.[8]
