On May 3, 2024, an Embraer ERJ-145 of the charter airline JSX, operating Flight 284, suffered a left gear collapse that damaged the plane's left wing. A crew member on board was injured.[1][2]

Incident
The accident occurred during the rollout after landing at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas, when the left main gear collapsed, according to the data the aircraft was at a relatively low speed during landing. The plane eventually came to a stop on the runway. Video footage that was taken shortly after the plane touched down shows the plane rolling and banking to the left.[3]
