Gerit Rural District (Persian: دهستان گريت) is in Papi District of Khorramabad County, Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Qaleh-ye Khanjan[3] (formerly Sar Tang-e Eslamabad).[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,145 in 418 households.[5] There were 1,876 inhabitants in 452 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 1,539 in 445 households. The most populous of its 32 villages was Nay Angiz, with 245 people.[2]
