Does anyone else see a black dot in southern Serbia on this map? (A black dot is supposed to indicate a former temple, or a planned temple site where construction has been suspended.) The really strange thing is that when I click on the image to see a larger version, the black dot in Serbia is no longer there. Additionally, when I looked at the image in the Commons, that copy doesn't have a black dot in Serbia either. Any idea what's going on? Richwales (talk) 03:51, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I do not know about the non-presence of the black dot, but I saw it both places I looked so far. I did in another discussion see a post where someone claimed there is an LDS temple in Serbia and had a picture of a building they claimed was it. It was actually an LDS Chapel, but may have been incorrectly refered to as a temple. The caption texts was in Serbian, so I have no clue what it actually said. The LDS Chapel/Temple difference is often not understood, and I once saw a news paper that claimed an LDS Temple was being built in New Jersey. The Church just announced tentative plans to build a temple in France. The announced site is near Paris and the announcement was about a week ago.
