English: Tortas are fried tortillas made from flour, butter, egg and water or milk. The masa is split into disks (usually cut and shaped by hand, with the intention of leaving irregular), to which they make a small hole in the center to prevent inflate in baking, frying contained in the mass. Usually then sprinkled with sugar. It is a typical snack River plate (Uruguay - Argentina), and often accompanying a mate drink.
