English: Selkirk - A different view of the Town Square. The statue is that of Sir Walter Scott. As indicated by the road sign, the road sweeping round to the right is the A7 to Galashiels and Edinburgh. The more popular shot of the Square is taken from the vicinity of the white van near the centre of the image, which then enables Sir Walter Scott's Courthouse to be seen behind his statue. |
