Fuling city - Jiangdong area - Fuling Teachers College
The campus where Peter Hessler was teaching during the two-year period 1996-1998. At that time, it was a teachers college and it was called "Fuling Teachers College"; then it became a university named "Yangtze Normal University". Today, the whole campus area is abandoned and crumbling. It is used as a dormitory for retired people.
