English: Unique copy of an edition, dating however to 1620. The first edition of the Rimada was printed in Venice in 1529 by the Sabio family, and is based on the Mythistorema tou Megalou Alexandrou by pseudo-Callisthenes. The Rimada, rhyming metrical verse, preceded the edition of the Fyllada tou Megalou Alexandrou, a prose adaptation, first printed in Venice in 1680.
