Summary

Description
English: Nomy Lamm at Radar Reading Series Nomy Lamm (nomylamm.com) is a writer, musician, voice teacher and new filmmaker living in San Francisco. She performs with Sins Invalid (sinsinvalid.org), a performance project by and for queers and people of color with disabilities, creating work around disability and sexuality. Her short movies include Maggie Remembers and Full Pussy Moon, and she is currently working on a documentary called Legacy of the Mystic Shrine. She’s also collaborated on two award-winning shorts with her partner Lisa Ganser (The Beginning Parts and Wall of Fire), as well as a five-song EP called Ganser/Lamm: Stars Out, released on Bandcamp. Nomy writes an advice column for Make/Shift magazine, and recently completed an experimental novel called 515 Clues, a fairy tale for grown-ups about longing, bodily disruption, and connections between our most isolated parts. She has an MFA in fiction from SFSU, and is a priestess-in-training with Kohenet. (Recorded 9/8/15)
