Summary
DescriptionNike Ajax base aerial view.jpg
English: This small Nike Ajax site has only two launch areas, the oval shaped ares in the middle of the image. The rectangular elevators that raise the missiles from their underground storage areas can be seen, and the four launchers are the small squares on either side of the elevator. Just to the left of the launchers is the refuelling area, surrounded by a high berm in case one of the missiles exploded. Near the top of the frame, just left of center, is the administration area. Radars are not evident, so they are likely positioned in the area at the extreme upper left.
