English: Gold 20-stater of Eucratides, the largest known gold coin from antiquity. The coin weighs 169.2 grams, and has a diameter of 58 millimeters. It was originally found in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, and later acquired by Napoleon III. Cabinet des Médailles, Paris.
Français : Monnaie de Bactriane. Eucratide Ier gréco-bactrien, r. v. 171-139 : 20 statères d'or. Grèce antique. Or : 169,20 g, diamètre 58 mm. La plus grosse pièce d'or connue de l'antiquité. Avers: Portrait du souverain diadèmé, casque à cimier orné d'une corne et d'une oreille de taureau. Revers: Dioscures à cheval, caracollant. D. 5,8 cm. Découverte à Boukhara, Ouzbékistan, et acheté par Napoléon III. Cabinet des Médailles, Paris.
