Matrix_transpose.gif ‎(210 × 270 pixels, file size: 79 KB, MIME type: image/gif, looped, 60 frames, 22 s)

Description The transpose of a matrix can be obtained by reflecting the elements along the main diagonal. Transposing twice returns the matrix to the original form. This process is illustrated in the animation, albeit with an equivalent and more intuitive rotation in 3D space.
