  • Der 104 Meter hohe Kirchturm von St. Johannis, hier vom Schulhof des ehemaligen Johanneums aus gesehen, wirkt von jeder Seite aus schräg: der Dachstuhl ist im oberen Bereich korkenzieherförmig verbogen. Der Legende nach hat sich der Baumeister, nachdem er den Fehler bemerkt hatte, aus einem der oberen Fenster des Kirchturmes gestürzt, wurde aber durch einen vorbeifahrenden Heuwagen so aufgefangen, dass er am Leben blieb. Im Vordergrund rechts die Rückseite des Kalandhauses, links steht das Pfarrhaus; übrigens vom selben Baumeister geplant wie der Hamburger Michaeliskirchturm.
