English: Major Gen. Lere Anan Timor, commanding general, Timor-Leste Defense Force, presents his opening remarks during the opening ceremony of Exercise Crocodilo 2012, a bilateral training exercise designed to build upon the existing partnership of the two countries. Crocodilo 12 aims to promote interoperability and cooperation between the participating forces, providing the opportunity to exchange knowledge and learn from each other, as well as to establish personal and professional relationships. Marines and sailors of the 15th MEU and the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group will conduct military training with the Timor-Leste Defense Forces and assist in humanitarian efforts to improve the medical and dental health of the local population
