Image title
High resolution scan of a B&W negative from the Lincoln University Museum photograph collection. The photograph is one of a large set of photographs known as the Blackmore Collection, after Ron Blackmore, who was the Visual Aids Officer at Canterbury Agricultural College/Lincoln College 1947-1966 and who took most of the images in the collection. Scan by David Hollander, staff photographer.
A detailed card catalogue was prepared for these images when the photographs were taken. This catalogue has survived and records information about the images in this set (nearly 1000 mostly quarter-plate negatives). The details recorded below have been copied from this catalogue. The dates given in the card catalogue are the date catalogued, not the date the photos were taken.
Picture shows P. G. Stevens, Lecturer, Animal Husbandry and L. W. McCaskill, Rural education, CAC.
Date taken: 1945.
Date catalogued: 30-09-1947.
The original is a quarter-plate glass negative, catalogue #10-7-3.
