There are many interesting stories related to the history of this lake. According to these stories a prince Saif ul malook saw a fairy Badr ul jamal in his dreams and fell in love with her. He wanted to marry her. On his way to find her a DEVISH told him how to find her love. He told him that he has to pass through many test to marry her. These stories are all about his chronicles and the lessons learnt from them.
