A Falcon 9 rocket lifts off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Space Launch Complex 40 carrying the Dragon resupply spacecraft to the International Space Station. Liftoff was at 4:43 p.m. EDT. On its eighth commercial resupply services mission to the International Space Station, Dragon will bring up almost 7,000 pounds of supplies, such as new science experiments and equipment for technology research.
