English: Late 18th-century illustration of a game of doubles ( may be jeu de paume or "real tennis" but the gallery is not seen ), in an indoor court that is wider, taller and shorter than those shown in many other 1600s-1700s illustrations of the game and compared to modern courts.
Français : Dessin du 18e s. d'une partie de raquettes en double. Cela provient l'encyclopédie Diderot et d'Alembert dans la rubrique « Paulmerie, Jeu de Paulme et Construction de la Raquette ». Cependant, soit le dessin est faux, soit il ne s'agit pas d'une partie de paume car il n'y a pas de galerie sur ce dessin ( voir: jeu de paume ).
