English: The Flushing Meadows Carousel figures were carved by Marcus Illions in Coney Island for two separate carousels, completed in 1903 and 1908, that were later combined to create the present carousel for the 1964 World's Fair. The carousel is now located in a small amusements area near the zoo in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. |
