Summary
DescriptionFirst Unitarian Church of Portland - 1924 building and 2007-built Buchan Building.jpg
The First Unitarian Church of Portland's 1924 Colonial-style building, at SW 12th & Salmon in downtown Portland, is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, but nowadays is known as Eliot Chapel by church members, after having ceased to be used as the congregation's main sanctuary in 1979. At that time, the church purchased an adjacent building to the south (not visible here) and began using it for their regular Sunday services. Visible behind the 1924 building in this photo is a 20,000-square-foot new building known as the Buchan Building, which was constructed for the Unitarian Church in 2007.
This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 78002315.
