This image is published in "USN Aircraft 1922-1962, Volume 4: Type designation letter 'BF', 'BT' & 'F' Part One" by Phil H. Listemann on page 24. The book states that "Unless otherwise noted, the photographs [in this book] come from the USN or from sources such as the National Archives or National Museum of Naval Avation". As the photograph's caption has no ancillary sourcing information, this is indicated to be a photograph originating from the United States Navy, and thus is covered under the PD-USN license.
