English: Domus Aurea (Golden House) palace of Roman emperor Nero built after the big fire of 64 A.D. in between the Palatinum, Caelius and Oppius hills of Rome, Italy. (The Colosseum was built later in the central area by the Flavian emperors.) The map features:
* on the Palatine hill Domus Augusti, Domus Tiberiana and Domus Neronis? (houses of the emperors),
* on the Caelius hill the Templum divi Claudi (temple for emperor Claudius), Nymphaeum Neronis (temple for a local nymph by Nero, fountain) and another Nymphaeum?,
* on the Oppius hill Thermae Neronis? (public bath of Nero), Domus aurea (Oppius) (part of the Domus Aurea), Domus Selani (house of Selanus) and Hortus Maecenatis (Garden of Maecenas)
* in the centre the large statue of Nero Colussus Neronis in the Domus Aurea (Vestibulum) and the large pool of the Domus Aurea (Stagnum).
