St Columb's Cathedral, Derry, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland
English: Left light of the window in the north vestibule in memory of the poet and hymn-writer Cecil Frances Alexander who died on 12 October 1895 in Derry. She was the wife of William Alexander, bishop of Derry. This light refers to “Once in Royal David's City” with the scene of the Nativity. The window was unveiled on by the Right Rev. Bishop Montgomery, at a service held on 21 March 1913, along with a memorial window for her husband who died in 1911. (See Irish Times, 22 March 1913, p. 10.)
