chronicler, drawer, translator and writer Guaman Poma was an indigenous Peruvian who became disillusioned with the treatment of the native peoples of the Andes by the Spanish after conquest.
Today, he is noted for his illustrated chronicle, Nueva Crónica y Buen Gobierno.
