Description
English: Fragment of a small steatite image of St. George and the dragon. Its back side is rough and uneven, since it was originally embedded in a protective wooden panel.

A number of comparable artefacts are known, collectively dated to c. the 12th century (with possible inclusion of 11th and 13th century dates).
