Han var tilknyttet det tyske sikkerhetspolitiet i Trondheim under krigen. Han bygget opp Sonderabteilung Lola (Rinnanbanden), som infiltrerte motstandsgrupper og førte til at flere hundre ble torturert og mer enn 80 drept. EF – på Norsk rettsmuseum.
English: From the museum's exhibition of WW2 showing seized material from the torture center Bandeklosteret. Henry Rinnan was born in 1915 in Levanger, executed by Kristiansten Fortress in 1947. He was associated with the Nazi- German security police in Trondheim during the war. He built up Sonderabteilung Lola (no:Rinnanbanden, en: the Rinnan gang), who infiltrated opposition groups and led to that hundreds were tortured and more than 80 killed. EF - the Norsk Rettsmuseum
