L'escultura "Bàrcino", el nom romà de Barcelona, un poema corpori de Joan Brossa. Es troba a la Plaça Nova de Barcelona, davant del Palau Episcopal.
La columna que es veu al darrera preten ser la les dues darreres arcades d'un dels dos aqüeducte romans del segle I que portaven aigua a la ciutat.
Aquestes arcades van quedar integrades dins de les defenses de la ciutat romana i feia segles que se n'havia perdut la memòria. A mitjans del segle XX van ser reconstruïdes sense cap criteri artístic ni arqueològic, només com a mera decoració..
