  • Instituído pela Lei Estadual n. 266, de 21 de setembro de 1907.

Bandeira retangular composta de cinco listras verdes sobre um fundo branco com um círculo amarelo no centro. No meio deste círculo um escudo de prata, com bordadura azul carregado de dezesseis estrelas brancas (número de comarcas da Paraíba), e sobre o campo do escudo a inscrição “5 de agosto de 1585” em vermelho. Como timbre do escudo, uma estrela de bordadura vermelho, com um barrete, também na cor vermelha.
