Description
English: Album painting from the St. Petersburg "Muraqqa". This miniature is comprised of two parts. Allegorical figure, seen floating on a cloud above the three figures below, was executed separately and pasted onto the already painted page when the album was designed. Miniature with allegorical figure: second half of the 17th century; attributive signature: "Written by Ali Quli Jabbadar". Miniature with Two Ladies with a Page: 1674; with attributive signature (in a special cartouche under the miniature, mounted when the album was compiled): "Executed in the prosperous and victorious month of Safar in the capital city of Qazvin. Written by the most worthless of the slaves of the court Ali Quli Jabbadar. Year 1085". Borders by Muhammad Baqir, Iran, mid-18th century.
