Summary
DescriptionAcerosodontosaurus color coded skull diagram.png
English: A skull diagram of Acerosodontosaurus piveteaui, based on the holotype specimen (MNHN 1908-32-57. Outline mostly based on a skull diagram published by Currie (1980), with some edits to the temporal region made in accordance to Bickelmann, Mueller, & Reisz (2009).
Notes:
In the original fossil, bones were only preserved in medial view, so this lateral view restoration involves some speculation, particularly in the mandible.
Dotted lines corresponding to missing or incomplete teeth and bones.
The parietal coloration presumably encompasses a vestigial supratemporal bone. The Surangular coloration encompasses the articular bone.
