English: The image shows a regular circumscribed halo (the large ring) and a 9° halo (smaller ring) around the sun. The latter is comparatively rare, as it is caused by pyramidal ice crystals rather than prismatic ones. See http://atoptics.co.uk/halo/pyrhalo.htm.
