Italiano: Il monumento al condottiero Giovanni dalle Bande Nere (Giovanni de' Medici, padre di Cosimo I de' Medici), fu scolpito da Baccio Bandinelli nel 1540 e si trova in Piazza San Lorenzo a Firenze. Rimasto a lungo incompiuto (la statua era a Palazzo Vecchio) fu infine completato nel 1850. English: The monument to condottiero Giovanni dalle Bande Nere (Giovanni de' Medici, father to Cosimo I de' Medici), was sculpted by Baccio Bandinelli in 1540 and stands in Piazza san Lorenzo square in Florence. Left incomplete for a long time (the statue was in Palazzo Vecchio) it was completed at last in 1850.
