A facelift on the HK, the HT Holden got revised grille, taillights and suspension and increased track. The US 307 V8 was dropped in favour of the new Australian made 253 and 308 V8s. The Chevrolet 350 replacing the 327. The Monaro became the basis for a car that was very competitive on the race track winning at Bathurst in 1969. That car; the GTS 350 is a very collectible car today.
