Electoral Service

The Electoral Service (Spanish: Servicio Electoral, SERVEL) is the organ of the state that arranges and supervises elections in Chile.^[1] Among its functions is also the maintenance of an electoral archive.^[1] As of April 2024^[update] its councilors are Andrés Tagle Domínguez, Alfredo Joignant, María Cristina Escudero Illanes, Pamela Figueroa Rubio and David Huina Valenzuela.^[2] Tagle Domínguez presides the council.^[2] The counselors are named by the President of Chile in agreement with the Senate.^[3]
