The Wolfram family is a British-German family of Hungarian-Jewish descent of scientists, intellectuals and businesspersons.
Hugo Wolfram was an English novelist and businessman. Hugo married Sybil Wolfram (nee Misch) who was a philosopher and writer, and daughter of Kate Friedlander.
Hugo and Sybil had two children, both boys.
- Stephen Wolfram, most prominent of all the members, is a mathematician, computer scientist, physicist and businessman. He is the developer of Mathematica and the founder of Wolfram Research.
- Conrad Wolfram, a technologist.
