Matt Herron (August 3, 1931 - ?) was a photojournalist. He photographed the Freedom Summer.

He was born in Rochester, New York. He married and had a son and daughter. They sailed from Florida to West Africa and wrote a book about the trip. He died in a glider accident.^[1]
