Draft:Isabelle Mejean

Isabelle Mejean is a French macroeconomist currently serving as Professor of Economics at Sciences Po and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research.[1] Her research is focused on international economics and trade, particularly on networks of exchange between firms.[1] In 2020, Mejean was selected as the winer of the Prix du meilleur jeune économiste de France (lit. Best Young Economist of France Award), awarded annually by Le Monde and the Cercle des économistes to the best French economist under the age of 40.[1][2] According to Research Papers in Economics, Mejean was among the top 500 female economists in the world as of November 2023.[3]

Biography

Mejean receives her PhD in Economics from the University of Paris I in 2006. In 2007, she joined the faculty of the École polytechnique, moving to Sciences Po in 2021.
