David Gerard Rivera Juarbe (born December 26, 1995), known musically as Dei V, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter of reggaeton and Latin trap.[1][2][3] He was nominated for Premio Tu Música Urbano 2023.[4] He participated in the second mixtape Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) by the Colombian singer Karol G, in the song "Gatita Gangster".[5][6]
Career
In 2023, Rivera released the debut single “Quién Es Dei V ?”, whose audiovisual obtained more than 18 million views on YouTube.[7] In that same year, he released "Trending" (remix) in collaboration with Myke Towers.[8] In September 2023, he released the debut single "Narcotics" in collaboration with Bryant Myers, whose audiovisual obtained more than 30 million views on YouTube.[9]
In July 2023, Rivera participated in "Pacto" (remix), in collaboration with Jay Wheeler, Anuel AA, Bryant Myers and Hades66.[10][11][12] In August 2023, Rivera participated in the song “Gatita Gangster”, with Karol G. He later participated in the song "Diamonds", a single from the studio album Estrella.[13] by the Puerto Rican singer Mora. In October 2023 he participated in the single “Crush” in collaboration with Sky Rompiendo and Arcángel.[14][15]
