Damilola Akinwunmi popularly known as Dapper Damm  (born 11 November, 1986) is a Nigerian record producer.[1] He is the founder and CEO of Dvpper Music, a Nigerian record label and distribution company.[2][3]

Early life

Damilola Akinwunmi  was born on 11 November, 1986 in Lagos State, Nigeria but originally hails from South-Eastern Nigeria. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Lagos in Sociolgy.

Career

Damilola officially started his career in 2014 after he graduated from the university. At this time, he managed two singers, Koker and Dotman. In the next two years, he became an entertainment executive at Temple Management, a talent agency in Lagos. There, he managed artistes like Iyanya, Adey, Chris, Aaron, Tee-Y Mix.[4][5]

In 2018, Damilola left Temple and founded Dvpper Music as a distribution firm and recorded label.[6] The company has various artistes signed under it including Omah Lay, Shalipoppi, T.I Blaze, Seyi Vibez, Teni, Zlatan, Rexxie and Savage.[7][8]

Personal life

In July 2023, Damilola was seen in a video dancing with Nigerian chef, Hilda Bacci. Later on, it was revealed that they are a couple.
