Branka Čubrilo is an international novelist and short-story writer. She writes, publishes and translates in three languages. Her career has spanned over 4 decades.

Career

At eighteen Čubrilo won a nation Young Writers Literary Award, she has gone on to publish ten novels, two collections of short-stories and many poems featured in literary magazines.

She has also been a journalist at Special Broadcasting Services (SBS) in Sydney, Australia.

She is fluent in 5 languages and also works as an interpreter and translator. Čubrilo also works as a literary translator.

Although she is considered an international author, Čubrilo considers herself an American author as most of her novels have been published by American publisher Speaking Volumes.
