Archie Vaughan (born 9 December 2005) is an English cricketer who plays for Somerset.

Early and personal life

The son of Michael Vaughan and wife Nichola, he has a sister, Tallula.[1] He was educated at Millfield where he captained the first-XI cricket team.[2] He played for Baslow CC in Derbyshire before moving on to play for Alderley Edge. He also played age-group cricket for Cheshire.[3]

Career

He played for Somerset County Cricket Club as a teenager, playing for Somerset at under-15 and under-18 level before joining the Somerset Academy.[4][5] In April 2024, he opened the batting for Somerset second-XI against Yorkshire second-XI at Headingley, alongside Jack Leach, scoring 61.[6]
