Although there was a push to add more seeds, the push failed, and the FCS will again feature a 24-team postseason bracket: 10 teams decided via automatic bids issued to conference champions, and 14 at-large bids (see above). The top eight teams will be seeded. The push continues, as more seeds could be added for the 2025 season.[10] For the first time in league history, the Championship Game will be played on a Monday instead of playing on the weekend.
